If you are planning to go to the 24th International Vascular Biology Meeting in Adelaide, Australia (September 6-10, 2026) and would like to apply for a NAVBO travel award, please complete this form.

NAVBO is sponsoring Travel Awards for its trainee members (students or postdocs). If you are not a NAVBO member, please consider joining (click here to apply).

Criteria:

• Be a current active trainee member of NAVBO (student, postdoctoral fellow or equivalent).  Your membership expiration date must be December 31, 2026 or later.
• Only students (medical, graduate and undergraduate), post doctoral fellows and the equivalent are eligible. You must still be in this position at the time of the meeting (September 6-10, 2026).
• Submit an abstract to the IVBM 2026 (upload your abstract to this form) - IVBM submission deadline is May 15 11:59pmACST (Please note - this time is 14.5 hours ahead of US Eastern time).
• Submit your CV (upload it into the form)
• Letter of recommendation from your immediate supervisor (PI) that confirms your status in their lab and attests to your work on the project described in your abstract. (this letter should also be uploaded within this form)
• All uploaded documents should be pdfs

If selected, travel awards will be paid out after the meeting upon receipt of meeting expenses.  Eligible expenses include meeting registration, hotel, airfare and ground transportation; we will not cover meals.
