The Vascular Cell Biology GRC is a premier, international scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The conference program includes a diverse range of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and organizations worldwide, concentrating on the latest developments in the field. The conference is five days long and held in a remote location to increase the sense of camaraderie and create scientific communities, with lasting collaborations and friendships. In addition to premier talks, the conference has designated time for poster sessions from individuals of all career stages, and afternoon free time and communal meals allow for informal networking opportunities with leaders in the field.

Blood vessels permeate every tissue in all vertebrates and perform countless critical functions, failures of which contribute to nearly every human disease. The main objective of the Vascular Cell Biology Gordon Research Conference is to provide an integrated platform for presentation and discussion of latest advances in vascular biology, as they relate to both health and disease. The program will include sessions on the rapidly advancing fields of vascular metabolism, cellular heterogeneity, vascular cellular cross talk, as well as vascular development and specification, the role of the vasculature in inflammation, and vascular mechanobiology. Focus will be placed on relevance to human disease across the lifespan, including pregnancy-associated, cardiovascular, neurovascular, and aging-associated pathogenesis. Nascent technologies will be highlighted. The program will also include afternoon sessions to discuss career opportunities and challenges for junior investigators. Interactive poster sessions will allow all participants to showcase their work, and short talks will be selected from the abstracts. Poster presenters will have the opportunity for rapid presentations during morning sessions to advertise their posters. Financial support will be available for travel for both junior and senior investigators.
