The Enneagram is a powerful personality framework that explores the core motivations, fears, and desires driving human behavior. For the scientific community, where collaboration and mentorship are essential, understanding these psychological drivers can be transformative. 

This session features Lacey Rhoades, an accomplished Senior Vice President, Organization Development & Transformation at Saks Global. As an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and experienced Enneagram practitioner, she has over 18 years of experience in organization transformation, specializing in leadership development and cultural change. Lacey holds a Master's in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and has a background in management consulting.

 Lacey will guide us in exploring the Enneagram as a practical tool to:

 · Understand yourself: Learn your core motivations to better leverage your strengths and navigate the unique stressors of a scientific career.

 · Support trainees and collaborators: Tailor your mentorship approach to meet the specific needs of your mentees, fostering their growth and success. 

· Improve team dynamics: Develop a common language for understanding different communication styles, creating a more cohesive and empathetic lab environment. 

This event is designed for scientists, mentors, and institutional leaders, offering strategies to build more effective, collaborative, and human-centered scientific communities. The session will be moderated by Skylar King, Senior Scientist at Washington University School of Medicine, and it will NOT be recorded.
