Do you know what happens to your grant after you submit it to the NIH? The NAVBO Education Committee is proud to sponsor its eighth Career Development Forum on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 entitled "NIH 101."  This informal Q&A discussion with NHLBI program officer Dr. Marc Charette will address all aspects of NIH grant review - how your grant gets assigned, reviewed, and ultimately funded.  Dr. Charette will share his insight as Program Director of the Vascular Biology and Hypertension Branch Division of Cardiovascular Sciences at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.

As in the past, the format will consist of an informal question-based forum with short answers. If you are interested in attending, please submit questions for the panel prior to the event to careerforum@navbo.org.
