22nd International Vascular Biology Meeting

IVBM 2022 will feature an exciting scientific program with renowned speakers in the field, and will provide various opportunities for participants to build collaborative networks. The meeting will be composed of plenary and concurrent sessions reflecting diverse research topics in vascular biology from basic to translational level.

The meeting will begin with a keynote lecture by Christer Betsholtz, Ph.D., Uppsala University followed by the Earl P. Benditt Award Lecture by Joyce Bischoff, Ph.D., Boston Children's Hospital and the presentation of the inaugural Florence Sabin Award to Omolola Eniola-Adefeso, Ph.D., University of Michigan on Thursday, evening October 13. On Friday, we are honored to hold our second keynote lecture by Jeffrey Bluestone, Ph.D., University of San Francisco. The Judah Folkman Award Lecture by Stefania Nicoli, Ph.D., Yale School of Medicine, will be held on Saturday afternoon.  On Sunday, the Springer Award Lecture by Delphine Gomez, University of Pittsburgh, will be followed by a featured lecture by Dr. Richard Hynes, MIT.  He will then receive the the Stephen Schwartz Award.  The meeting will end on Monday with our final Keynote Lecture by Stefanie Dimmeler, Ph.D., University of Frankfurt, and a general session on New Signaling Mechanisms. 

The program is divided into seven themes and features over 100 speakers:
Development and Aging
Emerging Topics and New Technologies
Vascular Physiology
Translational Research
Vascular Beds and Cells
Vascular Diseases
Vasculature in Disease

Each concurrent session in the above themes will feature two invited speakers and two short talks from selected abstracts.  We are no longer accepting abstracts.

Registration Includes - 
Access to all sessions and lectures, poster sessions, exhibits, coffee breaks and welcome reception. 

There will be an additional charge of $75 for a ticket to the dinner/cruise on October 16 evening.

Promotional codes will be provided to members by their societies.  Request your promocode before registering for the meeting.  Due to certain limitations of our software, there are different promocodes for early vs. regular registration. 

Since NAVBO is the sponsoring society, NAVBO members will not require a promocode.

Cancellation policy for individuals:
You must cancel your registration in writing.  Cancellations received by September 12 will receive a refund less $100 processing fees.  No refunds after September 12.
