About
ECIS™ (Electric Cell-Based Impedance Sensing) is a real-time, impedance-based method to study the behavior of cells grown in tissue culture. Assays include TEER, migration, proliferation, signal transduction, cell differentiation, phenotypic assays, cell toxicity, stem cell biology as well as cell behavior under dynamic flow conditions. The measurement is continuous and label free. Up to four 96 well plates can be run simultaneously without opening the incubator door.
