Description
The goal of this event is to provide individuals who are currently on non-immigration visas, particularly the international scholars (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and scientists) with some practical advice on how they may navigate the immigration the system. The roundtable will also provide information for faculty and administrators wishing to hire and retain international scholars. The session will be moderated by Masanori Aikawa (Professor of Medicine, Yoshihiro Miwa Distinguished Chair, Harvard Medical School and Director of CICS, Brigham and Women's Hospital), and the panel will include Yun Fang (Associate Professor, University of Chicago), Dan Berger (Partner, Curran Berger & Kludt LLP), and Noel Palatas (Officer, International Office of Mass General Brigham). The latter two are well established experts in immigration issues related to international scholars residing in the USA.
